Girls Varsity Golf · Kendrick’s hopeful “Career Best” turns to a “Season Best” in the final two holes at Fort Knox!

The Rowan County Lady Vikings traveled to the Fort Knox Lindsey Golf Course to play in the Central Hardin Lady Bruin Invitational on Saturday, August 15th. Taylor Kendrick came into her final two holes with a hopeful outcome of a career best. However, Kendrick double bogeyed the last to holes to give her a season best score of 82. That score ranked Kendrick at number 13th in the invitational, which had a field of 151 players. Allie McKenzie and Adrianna Kerns both turned in a score of 95 and Abby Moore scored a 103. This put the team score at a 375 which ranked the team 8th out of a field of 17 teams. The Lady Vikings continue to do well and will travel to Shepherdsville, KY on August 22nd to play in the Bluegrass Invitational.
