Multiple Teams · Vikings Homecoming Rained On by Ashland

The Rowan County Vikings hosted the Ashland Tomcats Friday Night at Paul Ousley Stadium for the Annual Homecoming football game. Senior,  Ms. Carly Anderson was named Homecoming Queen 2015. With raining weather in the area, the Tomcats rained on the homecoming parade.  Ashland defeated Rowan 48-21, dropping the Vikings to 3-3 on the season.

The Vikings battled early in the contest, but they were not able to slow down the ground attack of Marshall University commit Quentin Baker. Ashland posted 402 total yards with 293 of them on the ground. While the Vikings posted 171 rushing yards and 226 total yards.
