Softball Gives Back

Softball Players Help Clean Up Lockegee

Members of the Rowan County Lady Vikings Softball Team participated in a community clean-up project at the famous area landmark “Lockegee.” The event took place on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Lady Vikings that assisted with the clean-up from left to right are: Katlyn Carter, Meghan Hammond, Abby Hammond, Lindsey Wilson, Janae Graham, and Katie Hatfield.

Softball Gets Win at Weekend Tournament

The Rowan County Lady Vikings traveled to London, KY for the Kentucky Prep 5-Star Classic Tournament.  They finished the weekend going 1-2. Fleming Co. Game Cancelled

Due to the weather and field conditions, the home softball game against Fleming County High School on April 16 is cancelled.

Lady Vikings Defeat Menifee County

Lady Vikings Softball went on the road on April 15 to Menifee County.  Rowan County got the win over the 61st District rival 12-2 in five innings. Senior Lindsey Wilson lead the way with a her second home run of the season, a solo dinger in the first frame. Freshman Sarah Hallock and 8th grader

Youth Softball Clinic Rescheduled

Due to the inclement weather, the Youth Softball Clinic hosted by the Rowan County Lady Vikings for Morehead City League players has been rescheduled for April 22, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Lady Viking Field.
